Donors give both Promise and Peace

Hospice of Marion County’s Annual Appeal is underway to raise funds for children’s services, community grief workshops and unfunded programs that support our community during life’s most difficult transitions.

2014 Annual Appeal

Every dollar you donate goes right where it belongs—to care for a patient in need and support a family in crisis. Your dollars not only provide highly skilled medical treatment for those at the end of life, they also offer:

  • Hope through the support of social services staff
  • Courage from our spiritual team
  • Trust in our expert care management
  • Volunteer assistance and companionship and
  • Serenity as families unite to say goodbye.

Only the special kind of care that hospice provides can give Marion County residents the opportunity to live fully even as they face the final chapter of life. Everyone, regardless of ability to pay, deserves the right to feel better and to live better.

For this reason, we have established The Tomorrow Campaign, which will provide this care for generations to come. Planning for tomorrow today ensures that the patient-family experience will be meaningful, that our four Hospice Houses will remain state-of-the-art and that community grief services can be offered free of charge at the Monarch Center for Hope & Healing.

Donors are the future. You can make the difference.

Over the past five years, Hospice of Marion County has provided nearly four million dollars in free care to families in dire situations. Each year, the need grows as more and more people, young and old, face the end of life. We need your help to continue our mission of providing comfort care to everyone who needs us in their most vulnerable hour.

Because of donors like you, we have continued to develop expansive new services to meet that growing need, including our palliative care consulting program for those of any age and any condition, disease-specific education to make living more enjoyable, pre-hospice support for those with a prognosis of a year and community-wide children’s programs, and now, our new Monarch Center for Hope & Healing that provides free community grief support. All are designed with the specific needs of our community in mind.

We could not offer these services without your help. The Tomorrow Campaign is providing for generations to come through donations specified for:

  • The Patient-Family Experience
  • The Hospice Houses
  • The Monarch Center for Hope & Healing

Give from your heart; give so that others may benefit.
On behalf of the Hospice of Marion County family, thank you for your support.
